What happened
Actus Nutrition has completed its acquisition of Erie Foods International, an Erie, Illinois maker of protein ingredients and specialty dairy products founded in 1938 as a casein manufacturer. The deal covers all of Erie Foods' North American operations; Erie Europe was not part of the transaction.
Jim Klein, President of Erie Foods, joins Actus and continues to lead Erie facility operations. Terms were not disclosed.
