Bose Corporation has acquired Skullcandy, the Park City, Utah lifestyle audio brand that makes headphones, earbuds and speakers, from a fund managed by Mill Road Capital Management LLC, a Connecticut-based private investment firm. Financial terms will remain confidential.
Skullcandy will remain a separate brand within Bose's Premium Consumer Audio business and stay based in Park City. Brian Garofalow is Chief Executive Officer of Skullcandy; Lila Snyder is Chief Executive Officer of Bose.
