Enbridge takes ownership of North Carolina gas holding company
What happened
Enbridge Parrot Holdings, LLC completed its purchase of Dominion Energy, Inc.’s membership interests in Fall North Carolina Holdco LLC, the intermediate holding company for Public Service Company of North Carolina, Incorporated.
At closing, Enbridge paid approximately $2.0 billion in cash and assumed approximately $1.2 billion of indebtedness. Public Service Company of North Carolina is a public utility serving residential, commercial and industrial customers in North Carolina.
