What happened
SatPort Infrastructure, formed by EQT Infrastructure VI, has completed its acquisition of the teleport infrastructure business of Speedcast. Terms weren't disclosed.
The deal adds 12 teleports across 11 countries and five continents, plus more than 100 staff. Speedcast stays on as a customer under a new long-term infrastructure services agreement.
