What happened
I Squared Capital has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Orizon Aerostructures, a Kansas City maker of large structural components and subassemblies for commercial aviation, defense and space.
Founders Charlie and Henry Newell will keep leading the company, and senior management is reinvesting alongside I Squared. Closing is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.
