What happened

Isabella Bank Corporation has agreed to combine with Grand River Commerce, Inc. through a two-step merger, with Grand River's bank folding into Isabella Bank afterward. Holders of Grand River common stock can elect cash or Isabella shares, subject to proration so that roughly 35% is paid in cash and 65% in stock. [01]
