What happened
Pangaea Logistics Solutions Ltd. entered into a merger agreement with Renaissance Holdings LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Strategic Shipping Inc. Following the merger, Renaissance Holdings will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pangaea Logistics Solutions Ltd.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2024, subject to specified conditions. Pangaea Logistics Solutions will acquire ownership or charter-in fifteen handy-size dry bulk vessels currently owned or chartered-in by Strategic Shipping Inc.
