Princeton Bancorp agrees to combine with Cornerstone Financial
What happened
Princeton Bancorp, Inc. and Cornerstone Financial Corporation entered into a merger agreement on Jan. 18, 2024. Cornerstone Financial Corporation will merge into Princeton Bancorp, Inc., which will be the surviving corporation.
Cornerstone Bank will also merge into The Bank of Princeton after the merger, with The Bank of Princeton as the surviving bank. Cornerstone shareholders will receive 0.24 shares of Princeton common stock per share, subject to adjustment.
