What happened

Progress Software Corporation agreed to acquire all outstanding equity interests of Vector Maven Holdings, Inc. from Vector Maven Holdings, L.P. The transaction will make the company and its wholly-owned subsidiaries, including MarkLogic Corporation and Smartlogic Holdings Limited, wholly-owned subsidiaries of Progress.

The purchase price is approximately $355 million, subject to working capital and other adjustments, and will be paid in cash.
