TTM Technologies to buy MKS’ Ophir Optics business
What happened
TTM Technologies, Inc. agreed to purchase the Ophir® Optics business from MKS Inc. in an all-cash transaction for $650 million, subject to customary closing adjustments.
The business provides high-precision infrared thermal imaging and laser optics solutions for defense, security and industrial applications. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2027, subject to customary closing conditions.
