What happened

Viskase Holdings, Inc., formerly Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Inc., finished its merger with Viskase Companies, Inc. on March 26, 2026. A merger subsidiary was folded into Viskase Companies, Inc., which now continues as a wholly owned subsidiary and was then converted into a Delaware limited liability company. [01]

Each Viskase Companies, Inc. common share converted into 0.049118 shares of the combined company's common stock. Former Enzon holders own about 45% of the combined company, and former Viskase holders own about 55%. Terms weren't disclosed in dollar value. Thomas D. Davis, previously Viskase's chief executive, now leads the combined company. [01]
