Carlyle is a Nasdaq-listed global investment firm with about $485 billion of assets under management across three business segments. Founded in Washington, DC in 1987, it has more than 2,500 professionals in 28 offices. Its Carlyle Europe Partners platform, which invests in European mid-market companies, agreed in 2026 to co-acquire BauWatch.[1][2]
