What happened
Carlyle and the EBRD are selling Black Sea Oil & Gas, the top offshore natural gas producer in Romania, to Mazarine Energy, a Hague-based operator that has worked in Romania since 2017.
BSOG runs the Midia Gas Development project, onstream since June 2022 and now producing more than 100 million standard cubic feet of gas per day. The deal still needs customary regulatory approvals.
