Berkeley Biologics to purchase Elutia’s Orthobiologics business
What happened
Elutia Inc. agreed to sell substantially all assets related to its Orthobiologics products and contract manufacturing business to Berkeley Biologics, LLC. The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, with closing expected in the fourth quarter of 2023.
The purchase price is up to $35 million in cash, including $15 million due at closing and up to $20 million in earn-out payments.
