What happened

CBIZ, Inc. and CBIZ Acquisition 42, LLC completed a purchase of substantially all of the non-attest business assets of Marks Paneth LLP, while assuming certain related liabilities and obligations.

The initial purchase price included approximately $81.25 million in cash, subject to a customary working capital adjustment. Additional consideration of up to $75.25 million may be paid based on future performance.
