Celanese Corporation completed its acquisition of the majority of the Mobility & Materials business of DuPont on Nov. 1, 2022. The purchase price was $11,000,000,000 in cash, subject to customary transaction adjustments.

The transaction included engineered thermoplastics and elastomers, brands, intellectual property, production assets and an organization. Terms excluded DuPont’s Delrin® POM, Tedlar® PVF, Multibase, and Auto Adhesives & Fluids businesses.
