Data Journey to buy Greenidge’s Spartanburg property
What happened
Greenidge Generation Holdings Inc. agreed to sell its 152-acre Spartanburg, South Carolina property to Data Journey LLC. The transaction includes $12.1 million in cash and an 8% profit participation interest in the planned data center.
The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2025. Data Journey plans to build a data center on the property.
