What happened

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. completed its purchase of substantially all assets of Zenith Freight Lines, LLC from Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc. on Feb. 28, 2022.

The sale price was approximately $87 million, subject to a customary post-closing working capital true-up. J.B. Hunt will continue providing transportation and warehousing services to Bassett.
