Northern Oil and Gas completes purchase of Delaware Basin assets
What happened
Northern Oil and Gas, Inc. closed its acquisition of Northern Delaware Basin assets from Novo Oil & Gas Holdings, LLC on August 15, 2023. Earthstone Energy, Inc. jointly acquired the assets and will operate substantially all of them.
Northern Oil and Gas paid $468.4 million in cash, partly funded by a deposit paid at signing. The closing settlement remains subject to post-closing settlements between the parties.
