What happened
Stonepeak has finished buying Estia Health, a Sydney-based residential aged care provider, with Axight Capital Limited joining as a minority co-investor.
Estia runs 97 homes across South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland and looks after more than 14,500 residents a year with a workforce of over 15,000. The business becomes the second holding of Volarae Living, Stonepeak's social infrastructure platform for Australia and New Zealand, after Aura Holdings.
