What happened

Tower Biosecurity, Inc., also known as Perimeter Systems, Inc., finished its transaction for Ginkgo Biosecurity, LLC on April 3, 2026. The deal followed a Stock Purchase Agreement dated Feb. 26, 2026. [01]

Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc., a subsidiary of Ginkgo Bioworks Holdings, Inc., handed over the equity of the unit, which makes up substantially all of its Biosecurity segment operations.
