What happened

AURELIUS has signed a definitive agreement with Nokia to acquire its Enterprise Campus Edge (ECE) business, a private wireless and industrial edge provider serving nearly 900 customers in manufacturing, mining, logistics, airports, ports and power generation. The business employs about 1,000 people and has annual sales of more than €170m.

ECE employees are expected to transfer with the business at closing. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2027, subject to customary closing conditions including regulatory approvals. Fabian Steger is Managing Director of AURELIUS Fund IV and V.
