What happened
Goldman Sachs Alternatives has agreed to buy a majority stake in Celnor Group from Inflexion, which keeps a minority shareholding. Celnor is a TICC platform, meaning testing, inspection, certification and compliance work for the built environment.
Inflexion backed Celnor at its founding in 2023 and grew it through buy-and-build in the UK, then the US, France and Ireland. The group now has over 2,750 colleagues in 60 locations and more than £300 million in annual revenues. Regulatory approvals are still needed.
