What happened

An affiliate of H.I.G. Capital has acquired a majority stake in L4A, a Bergamo-based platform that maintains, renews and upgrades strategic infrastructure. The existing shareholders and Co-CEOs stay on as partners and keep running the business.

L4A works through its subsidiaries Artifoni, LSE and MPM across airport airside infrastructure, water infrastructure and district heating. H.I.G. plans to back organic growth and complementary acquisitions, including moves into adjacent niches in water treatment, energy and strategic transportation.
