Hanesbrands Inc purchased the Champion trademarks for footwear from Keds, LLC for $90 million in cash. Keds, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wolverine World Wide, Inc.
The agreement covers trademarks in the United States and Canada. Wolverine World Wide retains a perpetual license to use the Champion trademark on certain footwear, including the Keds Champion sneaker.
