What happened

RLI Corp. completed the sale of its minority interest in Maui Jim, Inc. to Kering Eyewear. The sale was part of a larger series of transactions under which Kering Eyewear will acquire all of Maui Jim’s issued and outstanding shares.

RLI received $686.6 million in pre-tax proceeds for its shares, after closing adjustments.
