Rains Agency Inc., a subsidiary of SmartFinancial, Inc., completed its purchase of substantially all of Sunbelt Group LLC’s assets and assumed certain liabilities on Sept. 1, 2022.

The aggregate purchase price was $6,500,000, including $5,200,000 paid in cash at closing, with the remainder payable in installments.
